▶ great product only one draw back Review by growbylight
Rating holy ish! I bought this OG after having a generic Hydrofarm 6" hood and man did the plants love the OG. Quick overview; 600watt Hortilux w/ digital Nano ballast in a Grow Lab 3'11"x 3'11" tent.
The first thing I noticed was the quality of the product and how easy it was to open the reflector to install the bulb, no tools necessary! I needed to adjust my ventilation system from 6"-8" which was well worth the time, my environment was much easier to control.
The overall growth that my plants experienced was noticeable over ONE light cycle! I've had great results since then including even growth along the canopy.
The only drawback that I'm experiencing at this time is my plants are out of control, and as one of the GrowerHouse employees warned me, my plants are getting too close to the reflector. This problem was solved by taking out the ratchet light hanger and replacing with some small D-rings, this added about 6".
Overall this product is awesome! Don't settle for anything less than a real OG! (Posted on 10/17/12)
