Growers House Note: We believe the Phantom ballast by Hydrofarm is one of the most rugged, durable ballasts available in the market. One of our employees accidentally dropped half of a Phantom ballast into a reservoir, and after drying it off the ballast continued to work. We do not recommend trying this with the Phantom ballast at home, but we did feel it was a good example of how a ballast reacts when exposed to common grow room elements, namely water. We attribute the Phantom ballast's performance to the internal resin coating of components and sealed structure (no fan).
