Containing both a 400 watt metal halide arc tube and a 600-watt high pressure sodium arc tube within the same light bulb, growers are able to reap the benefits of both lighting technologies. The bulb covers a plant's entire life cycle from the initial vegetative stage (blue spectrum) to the later flowering stage (red spectrum). This 10,000-hour lamp requires a 1000-watt high pressure sodium ballast with a ANSI code of S52.
