A: Neither the Gavita Master Controller EL1 or EL2 have the ability to be operated remotely. If you are looking for lighting fixtures that can be controlled remotely then take a look at Nanolux. They have a wireless APP based system. Following is the link to their wireless system on their website: http://nanoluxtech.com/nccs-apps-hardware/ Happy growing!

A: The Gavita Pro 1000 E-Series DE 120-240V Fixture is a complete lighting system therefore it does not require a separate reflector to be purchased. If you meant with your question if you can use the bulb that comes with this fixture in an air cooled reflector then the answer is no. DE bulbs are meant to be run at a certain temperature. Air cooled reflectors drop the temperature too low for the proper ignition of the gases inside the bulb resulting in decreased performance and loss of bulb life. Happy growing!
