A: Typically people prefer to Veg under lamps between 4-6K and Flower under lamps around 2K.; however, duration of night period is the most influential trigger. Some people Veg under HPS lamps (2K). Plants that veg under blue spectrum (4-6K) will typically have shorter internode length. If you would like to Veg with the same lamp, just make sure that your night period is less than 12 hours (for tomatoes). Other crops can require different lengths of night period to remain vegetative.

A: The Gavita Pro 1000 E-Series DE 120-240V Fixture requires 3'-4' between the fixture and the top of the plant canopy. So depending on the final height of the plants you are growing, the height of the pot, and any other equipment, would determine if this is the right fixture for your needs. Happy growing!

A: The Gavita Pro 1000 E-Series DE 120-240V Fixture is meant to be run with 400v bulbs. Remember the voltage draw from the wall does not have a correlation to the voltage the ballast supplies to the bulb with this fixture. Happy growing!

A: We would recommend you take a look at the Gavita Master Controller - EL1 or EL2. Both are made by Gavita specifically for their fixtures. The main difference is the EL2 can run two separate rooms along with auxiliary environment equipment. For your setup the EL1 should suffice but take a look at both to decide for yourself. Following is the links to each controller: https://growershouse.com/gavita-master-controller-el1 https://growershouse.com/gavita-master-controller-el2 Happy growing!
