Sun System LEC 315w CMH Ceramic MH Light Fixture 120v 3100k

I use this light in a 5x5 closet with good of ventilation and a 12" wall fan. It puts out a nice, intense, uniform light over my 3x3 ebb and flow table. Anyone trying to cram this light into a 2x2 area and complaining about heat is crazy. If you set up your space properly then it is an awesome and efficient light.

I keep it about 18-24 inches above my tops so heat isn't an issue. This isn't an air cooled lamp, but I can tell you it puts out less heat than my air cooled 400w HPS/MH that it replaced, and puts out just as much if not more light. Plus the spectrum is perfect on the CMH. My plants love it, and I've noticed much thicker stalks and vigorous growth than under the other lights as well.

Just keep in mind that cramming a non aircooled HID into a tiny space is not smart. Give yourself (and your plants!) some room for airflow. The price may seem high but if you catch it on sale it's a great deal. Just add up the cost of a ballast, bulb, and reflector. Then realize how efficient this light is and that you'll only change the bulb once a year at most, instead of every 6 months. It's a great light and I will be purchasing more of them in the future. I've recommended this light to a friend and he's doing really well with it.

I m am using one of these sunlight 315 lec lamp in a sunlight big easy 4x4 grow tent.

No problems for the light footprint. Covers tremendously well for this size tent. Big easy 4x4 tent is not your average 4x4 grow tent.it's alot bigger.

Plants are super happy and vegging well. Super foilages.
covering the canopy nicely.

Flowering will be awesome as this lamp goes into the far reds.

I'm growing organically using "nectar for the gods" nutrients.

I cannot emphasize how much these fixtures destroy the old HID set ups. They have no glass and no cooling ducts. They use half the power consumption and offer extended bulb life. These are game changers for me.
