Titan Controls Hercules 3 Power Expander - 15 Amp

Power Expander Module is a simple answer to a tough question of how to control your grow equipment with limited amperage available. Simply plug in an appliance to the Hercules 3 and connect the 'trigger' cord set to an environmental controller. Then your gear is operated via the contoller settings via the 'trigger' cord set based on the set-point on the controller. The Hercules™ 3 is a trigger cord style power controller. It provides the opportunity to utilize an independent 15 amp outlet to run an appliance via the cord i.e. operate a dehumidifier. Your gear can be activated by the trigger cord set via an environmental controller or timer. The Hercules™ 3 comes with a 15 foot trigger cord set and a heavy duty ballast rated relay to handle the heaviest of power loads. Will operate any 120 volt appliance at 15 amps. Plastic enclosure resists dust, rust and moisture.

  • Operates dehumidifiers, humidifiers, heaters, fans, lighting, CO2, pumps or other 120V appliances.
  • Extra-long 15 foot 'trigger' cord set
  • Dependable high quality, heavy duty power relay
  • Chassis resists dust, rust and moisture
  • Hand crafted in the USA!
  • 15 Amp/ 120 Volt/ 60 Hz.
  • 2 year warranty
  • Can be used with an extension cord (appropriate for your load)

  • Why do I have to run my appliance and my trigger cord on separate circuits?

Normally, the trigger cord is plugged into your environmental controller to operate your appliance. If you run both the environmental controller and the appliance on the same circuit, you may overload the circuit and trip the breaker. By putting the appliance on circuit "A" and the envrionmental controller on circuit "B", you can run up to a 15 Amp appliance and still control other devices from your environmental controller because you've now got 30 Amps (15 Amps from circuit "A" and 15 Amps from circuit "B" ) to operate your grow gear.
