Athena Stack Rates for Foliar, Drench, Transplant and Seed

Stack is the kelp product in Athena's Blended line, and the label reads 0-0-1. The base is a premium kelp extract from Ascophyllum nodosum, with other organic plant material. It is a supplement, and the small potassium number is the only guarantee. Athena gives four separate uses, each with its own rate. As a foliar spray, mix 7 mL per gallon and spray thoroughly once a week. Spray with the lights off, and let the leaves dry before the lights come back on. As a root drench, add 1–2 mL per gallon to the weekly mix, alongside the regular fertilizer recipe. At transplant, a 2 mL per gallon solution works as a bare-root soak for 30–60 seconds, or you can water it in afterward. Seeds soak for 1–2 minutes in a 4 mL per gallon mix before planting. No pH adjustment is required, and it is safe to run through irrigation systems. Shake the container before measuring, because the organic ingredients separate.

When to Stop the Kelp Foliar Spray in Flower

The window matters as much as the rate. Athena runs Stack from the final week of vegetative growth to week 3 of flowering. The other cue is when plants stop growing vertically, whichever comes first in your room. The label is direct about foliar work: do not spray past that point. Wet sprays on forming flowers leave residue and hold moisture where you least want it. Athena says it supports canopy health and flowering, and it can correct minor potassium deficiencies. It is labeled as compatible with Athena IPM, so both can go out in the same spray pass. Most growers treat it as a uniformity tool across a room rather than a dramatic yield lever. It pairs naturally with the Athena Blended or Pro base, though the drench also works with other programs. Rooms already feeding a strong kelp product in the root zone will see less added effect. Start with the foliar schedule, then add the drench if you want more.
