Rolling Benches + Tray Stands

Rolling Benches and Tray Stands for Grow Rooms and Greenhouses

Rolling benches carry flood trays on tops that slide sideways, so one moving aisle replaces an aisle beside every bench. This collection pairs Active Aqua and FS benches with tool-free Fast Fit tray stands from 2x4 to 4x8 ft. It also carries shelf hanging hardware for Hydrofarm vertical grow systems....

Types of Benches and Stands

Rolling Bench Frames

The Active Aqua 4x8 frame has peaked roll bars, a 28 3/4 in working height and a top that travels 7.35 in each way. It is galvanized steel rated at 18 lb per square foot, with floor anchors included. FS builds a 3x6 ft rolling bench in 12 gauge steel with an anti-rotate plate.

Fixed Tray Stands

Fast Fit stands come in 2x4, 3x3, 4x4 and 4x8 ft. Each lifts the tray to 25 in and leaves 18 in under the bottom bar for a reservoir. The powder-coated steel frames interlock without tools, and the inside openings match standard tray sizes.

Shelf Hanging Hardware

JSF and FLP hardware mount T5 fixtures flat under the shelves of Hydrofarm 3-shelf and 6-shelf vertical grow systems. That keeps each tier's clearance for the canopy.

How Growers Use Benches and Stands

FS works the math on a 20 ft room. Fixed 3 ft benches with 2 ft aisles put about 60% of the floor under plants. Rolling tops with one shared aisle push that to about 90%. In tents and small rooms, a fixed stand at a comfortable working height is the simpler choice.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the types of greenhouse benches?

The main types are fixed benches and stands, benches that roll, and shelving for vertical growing. Fixed stands like the Fast Fit line suit tents and small rooms. Rolling benches like the Active Aqua 4x8 save aisle space in larger rooms. Vertical shelves stack tiers under T5 fixtures.

What is a flood table?

A flood table is a shallow tray that fills with nutrient solution and drains back to a reservoir on a timer. It needs a level, rigid stand underneath. Fast Fit stands leave 18 in of clearance, so the reservoir can sit right below the tray.

What size flood table stand do I need?

Match the stand to the inside dimension of your tray. The Fast Fit 4x4 has a 51 x 51 in opening for a standard 4 ft tray. The 4x8 opens to 100 x 51 in. Pick 2x4 or 3x3 for tents and propagation.
