Wetting Agents

Wetting agents or surfactants lower the surface tension between a liquid and another liquid or solid matter and as a result, they act as emulsifiers, dispersants, detergents, and water infiltration agents. Wetting agents work by providing a binding layer between the applied product and the leaf surface which helps a spray stick to the leaf surface and provide the greatest benefit and prevent wasted product. Surfactants make water wetter especially on waxy leaves and biodegradable, water-soluble and non-toxic wetting agents improve the sticking, wetting, and absorption qualities of any garden product you wish to use.

Leaf Washes

Leaf washes wash away dirt and residues left behind by other plant sprays which reduces runoff to let plants absorb more nutrients and allow foliar fertilizers to work at peak efficiency. Dust, water spots, insect eggs, microscopic oil droplets that collect into oily films, and other foreign matter can all make their way to the leaves of your plants and render photosynthesis difficult. Not only does good plant hygiene facilitate photosynthesis and help keep the stomata clear, it can also help you to manage certain pests and diseases, including mealy bugs, spider mites, and powdery mildew.
