Unboxing Review: CVault Curing Storage Container / Boveda 2 Way Humidity Control
Hi everyone Nate from GrowersHouse here.
Today were going to show off a cool new product we brought it in because it was a staff favorite. They're called the CVault, now what this thing is, is a food grade stainless steel completely enclosed, air tight and light tight container that you put plant matter in (can also be used to store tobacco, seeds, medicine, or foods) they say that these are better than plastic or glass like mason jars because these do not let light in to degrade your plant matter. By totally closing it off you are able to keep your plant matter cured and stored better for longer. But not only that these new CVault come with a little something extra.

A little pack called a Boveda pack this in particular pack (B62) keeps whatever is inside this container at 62% relative humidity. What that means is you put something into the CVault that is really really moist like plant matter, the Boveda will draw some of the moisture out of the container and into the pack keeping it at 62% humidity level. And if you put material in the CVault that is really dry, the Boveda will exchange its moisture within to bring that moisture level up and get your moisture up to the perfect not too wet not to dry, perfect stored plant matter. Which is pretty awesome.
You just set it and forget it. Lol.
These packs, when you order a CVault from GrowersHouse, come with the CVault stainless steel containers. Let's open one up and I'll show you how you keep them in there.

You simply put your plant matter into the container and then here on the underside of the lid there is a little shelf holder you can slide your Boveda pack right into the top and you can see around the edges the rubber gasket to keep everything air tight. These come in tons of different sizes. Personal sized: small, medium, large, XL and then larger sizes 3 Liter, 4 Liter, 6 Liter, 8 Liter, and the Mega 17 Liter. With the larger containers you get a larger Boveda pack (multiples) to make sure to handle all the plant matter you want in the larger container. These packs last about two months or up to 90 days, depending on how hard it's working. These have to work a little harder if they are dehumidifying rather than humidifying, so if you put the Boveda pack into really moist matter it will work a little harder than if you put it into dry. These packs come with the CVault on GrowersHouse and are also available separately to go into your CVault or into whatever else you have like glass jars. So when you run out you can always pick up more. The packets when brand new come feeling like there is liquid inside like water, when it is placed in a container and working for a few days it is normal for the little bit of the corners to feel crunchy, when it is reaching the end of its life and cannot humidify or dehumidify any longer it will become hard and solid. So you can open your container, feel the Boveda and see if it is solid and that's how you know it's time to replace it, (Replacement 8g Pak, or 60g Replacement Pak) switch it out and put in a new one. Other than that we really like these, you put in plant matter, even stuff that is completely dry and in 3 to 5 days it will be totally restored and refreshed and have the kind of consistency that you want. We thought these were super cool and wanted to show these off to you guys and our customers.
