Humidifiers
If you want high humidity in your grow room only when it’s needed—during flowering, for instance—a mechanical humidifier can help. Models with controllers that are built in or added ensure that humidity doesn’t remain too high.
The thought behind growing indoors, in a grow tent, grow room or greenhouse, is that you control the environment. Temperature and light are important, but so is relative humidity. Levels should be changed so they’re ideal for each growth stage of your plants.
Humidifiers are fed continuously by your water system. A humidifier adds moisture in usable forms when a higher relative humidity is chosen. Most humidifiers can be set between 30 and 90 percent humidity. GrowersHouse sells commercial-grade humidifiers suitable for grow spaces of all sizes, whether modest or cavernous. Find humidifiers that produce about 75 pints a day, suitable for as little as 160 square feet of growing space, or humidifiers that can treat more than 6,000 square feet. We offer stand-alone units that distribute moisture into the air with built-in fans, and humidifiers that generate steam for distribution by your existing HVAC ductwork.
Humidity controllers that make operation fully automatic, if not built in, are available for pairing with your humidifier.
