An air-cooled vertical reflector for MH and HPS
The OG mounts the lamp vertically instead of horizontally, spreading light evenly and stretching lamp life with less lumen depreciation between changes. Concealed Vacuum Airflow Technology hides the ducting so the hood works about 30% harder than a standard vented reflector. It fits MH or HPS lamps and takes 8-inch flanges for air-cooling; a mogul-to-mogul extender adapts it for 250-600W lamps. Growers hang it around 36 inches over the canopy with a 600 or 1000W lamp for even coverage.
Cooling and build on the OG reflector
The hood is 22-gauge steel with a Black Matter powder coat and a 1/8-inch tempered glass lens. A removable door makes re-lamping and cleaning easy. It ships with a 15 ft cord and ballast plug plus a pair of V-hooks, and it carries UL approval for the USA and Canada. The body measures 21.75 x 21.75 x 12 inches, or 27 x 21.75 x 18 inches with flanges and top housing fitted. One note: it runs a single-ended MH or HPS lamp, so it is not a double-ended or CMH fixture.
