Double Ended DE
Double Ended or DE Lamps are H.I.D. lights (HPS, MH or CMH) run at extremely high frequencies to provide more stable temperatures and operating currents.
Double Ended DE
Double-ended or DE Lamps are HID lights (HPS, MH, and CMH) that are run at extremely high frequencies which provides a more stable temperature and operating current. They have more efficient light coverage and electrical use than single-ended lamps and the maintenance is much less than a standard single-ended lamp. They also provide a substantial increase in light intensity and PAR output than traditional SE (single-ended) bulbs. The arc tubes of DE bulbs are generally shorter and thinner than standard SE tubes creating more light from a smaller point as well as emitting more infrared and ultraviolet light which increase potency and essential oil production for some plants.
