Boveda 320g 58% Humidity Control Packs Hold Five Pounds

The largest pack Boveda makes, one 320 g unit covers up to five pounds at 58% RH. The job is a tote or a large curing vessel that would otherwise need four or five smaller packs scattered through it. One unit does it instead. Moisture crosses a reverse-osmosis membrane both directions, so a tote that has run dry recovers instead of just holding. 58% is the drier of the two flower levels, which is what long holds want. A few points under 62% buys months on the far end of a hold. The fill is food-grade salt, purified water and a thickening agent behind that membrane.

A Five Pound Humidity Pack for Totes and Bulk Storage

At 6.75" x 5" and under an inch thick, it lies flat in the base of a tote or a large curing vessel. It does not take usable depth. Sizing runs off weight, not volume. One pack handles a full five pounds, so most operations run a single unit per container instead of scattering smaller packs. Below five pounds it simply lasts longer between swaps, and above it you add a second rather than hoping. Undersizing shows up as a container that never reaches the number. Replace it when it turns rigid, which is the only maintenance there is. Give a sealed container a day or two to settle before reading the result. For long term storage at bulk scale the 320 g is the only size that makes sense.

Key Features

  • 58% Two-Way Control: Adds moisture to a container that has dried out and pulls it back when the lid comes off.
  • Protects 5 lb (2.5 kg): The largest capacity Boveda makes, sized for totes and bulk vessels.
  • Pure Water Vapor Only: A reverse-osmosis membrane means nothing but water crosses into your material.
  • Food-Grade Fill: Salt, purified water and a food-grade thickener, safe resting directly against contents.
  • No Activation Required: Active on arrival, so there is no soaking, charging or maintenance step.
  • 6.75" x 5" Flat Profile: Under an inch thick, so it lies in a tote base without stealing depth.
  • Tactile Replacement Signal: The pack turns rigid when spent, so no indicator card is needed.
  • Drier Than 62% RH: The right level when material is held long term rather than moving quickly.

How Much Does a 320g Boveda Hold?

Up to five pounds, the largest capacity Boveda makes. The 67 g covers a pound and the 8 g a single ounce.

Boveda 58% or 62% — Which Is Right?

58% runs drier and protects long holds and denser material. 62% keeps more moisture in for product moving quickly to a customer.

How Long Does a 320g Pack Last?

Two to four months depending on conditions. A sealed tote opened rarely runs longer than one accessed daily for dispensing.

Do You Need More Than One Pack per Tote?

Not under five pounds. Above that, add a second rather than expecting one pack to stretch beyond its rated capacity.
