The blue impact glue board offers protection against thrips. Simply hang the blue impact board in the garden or greenhouse near the problem area, the colour acts as a high attractant to the insects. Impact boards are clean touch, UV light stable, Non-Toxic and are suitable for use in greenhouses where higher temperatures may occur. Impact boards are unaffected by sprinkler systems. Traps are supplied in packs of 5 shrink wrapped and placed in a cardboard sleeve.

Overview
Blue Impact boards are attractive to a wide range of insect pests including aphids, whitefly, thrips, fungus gnats, fruit flies and leaf miner flies. These traps are an essential tool to detect new pest outbreaks and to help with decision making.

Effective Monitoring
Monitor weekly from the start of cropping by placing one trap per 200m ² and recording the number of pests per trap. Hang the traps vertically, with the base about 10 cm above the top of the crop, and move them upwards as the crop grows. For mass trapping, use one trap per 20m ² with extra traps every 2m2 in hot spots. Replace after 6 to 8 weeks or sooner if covered in insects.
