Bloom 3-12-6 runs low on nitrogen and high on phosphorus, the ratio flowering plants pull hardest on as buds set. It carries all 6 macronutrients and all 10 micronutrients, so it feeds a complete diet rather than a partial one. The formula is urea-free and skips the salt buildup that urea-based feeds leave in the root zone. A high nitrate-to-ammoniacal nitrogen ratio holds back the stem elongation that pushes soft, stretchy growth in flower. Most growers switch to it as plants transition out of vegetative growth and keep feeding through bloom.

Growers feed it at 1/2 teaspoon per gallon with every watering, and one quart stretches to about 192 gallons of working solution. It works in soil, hydro, and containers, so the same bottle covers a windowsill orchid and a full bench of roses. For the most consistent bud response, feed with clean water buffered into the mild-acidic range. Start it before flower buds appear to help initiate bloom.
