Then the trace elements: boron 0.01%, cobalt 0.0005%, copper 0.01%, iron 0.1%, manganese 0.05%, molybdenum 0.0008% and zinc 0.015%. Copper, iron, manganese and zinc are all chelated. Calcium is the reason this bottle exists.
Why General Hydroponics Micronutrients Go In First
One rule matters more than any feed chart. Never mix the concentrates together undiluted. Calcium from this bottle meets the sulfate and phosphate in FloraGro and FloraBloom. It drops out as a white sludge that no plant can take up. Add this to plain water, stir, then add the other two. That sequence is why general hydroponics micronutrients are chelated in the first place. A chelate wraps the metal ion so it stays available across the pH band a tank actually sits in. It will not lock out the moment pH drifts. Hold the solution between 5.5 and 6.5. One thing to check before you commit to this bottle. If your tap water runs over 200 ppm, or carries more than 70 ppm calcium, General Hydroponics points you at FloraMicro Hardwater instead.
