Where the Method Seven Cultivator Sits in the Range

This is the value model, and the tradeoff is the lens material. Lenses are polycarbonate rather than the premium polymer in the Operator. They are still made by Carl Zeiss, still with 100% UV protection and a flash silver coating. Optically they are corrected the same way. The frame and materials are where the money went instead.

Fitting and Wearing LED Grow Glasses All Day

Comfort decides whether led grow glasses actually get worn, and a pair left on the bench protects nobody. The Cultivator frame carries a rubber nose pad. It holds position when a room is hot and skin is damp, where a hard bridge slides. Lenses are decentered, asymmetrical rather than a simple curve, so they do not distort at the edges the way inexpensive wrap eyewear does. A microfiber pouch comes in the box for cleaning and storage, which is not a trivial detail on a coated lens. Dry wiping a flash silver coating with a shirt is how it gets scratched. One thing to settle first. Like the rest of the LED range these are tuned to magenta and red spectrum arrays, not white full spectrum. If your room runs modern white bars, the FX series is the correct line.
