The Niwa CO2 Sensor is an essential accessory for any serious grower using the Niwa Grow Hub system. Designed to be fully compatible with all Grow Hub models, this sensor does NOT work as an independent sensor. Once you receive your CO2 sensor, you'll simply replace your existing sensor module with your new CO2 sensor module. This means you can continue to receive all the preexisting readings you had before (VPD, temperature, relative humidity, light levels, dew point) and now also monitor your CO2 equipment.
Accurate CO2 measurement is crucial for maintaining the optimal environment for plant growth. Plants absorb CO2 and convert it into glucose during photosynthesis, a process that is fundamental for growth and development. Having too little or too much CO2 can have adverse effects on plant health and yield.
