Setting Up an Aqua-X Pro Sensor Board for Steady Readings
An Aqua-X Pro sensor board earns its place when the numbers on the controller match what is in the tank. Mount it on a wall close to the probes with two screws. Keep it above splash height and away from heaters, pumps and chiller exhaust. Short probe leads carry less noise, so route them straight to the board without coiling the slack on a motor cord. Push the BNC on and turn it until it locks, then seat the Mini DIN fully. A loose plug is the usual cause of a reading that drops out. Rooms with several tanks run each board through the SPH-1 Splitter Hub and give every board its own address. Label each board with its reservoir so an alert points to the right tank. Calibrate both probes through the controller before trusting the first alarm. Holding the addressing key down resets the board's calibration, which helps when a probe is swapped. Set a pH window and an EC window on the controller the same day. The board reports values and the controller acts on them, so a dosing response still needs pumps on the Aqua-X side. The probes are not in the box.
