Boveda 4g 58% Unwrapped Bulk Humidity Control Packs, 600 Count

58% RH is the drier of Boveda's two flower levels, and the one to reach for when material is going into a long hold. Each 4 g pack covers a half ounce, moving pure water vapor across a reverse-osmosis membrane in whichever direction the jar needs. Same salt, purified water and thickening agent as the 62%, set to a lower equilibrium. A few points drier buys months on the far end, which is the whole argument for the tier. It is not a better number, just a different one. Material that moves quickly does better at 62%, where more moisture stays in. At 2" x 2" the pack lies flat under an eighth or quarter jar lid.

58% RH Packs for Drier Long Term Storage, 600 to a Case

Unwrapped bulk carries the lower per-unit cost. The trade is that every pack goes live the moment the case is opened. That makes it right for a single continuous packaging run and wrong for a case you dip into over six months. Reseal leftovers in an airtight container and they hold. Leave the case open on a bench and they will not. The individually wrapped version solves the same problem from the other direction if your fill happens in batches. Both formats exist at 58% and at 62%, so the packaging choice is independent of the setpoint. There is no indicator card in either, since a Boveda pack is read by feel as it turns granular and then hard. Plan on roughly a three-month replacement cycle.

Key Features

  • 58% Two-Way Control: Adds moisture to a container that has dried out and pulls it back when the lid comes off.
  • Protects 1/2 oz (14 g): Sized so the pack has capacity in hand rather than running at its limit.
  • Pure Water Vapor Only: A reverse-osmosis membrane means nothing but water crosses into your material.
  • Food-Grade Fill: Salt, purified water and a food-grade thickener, safe resting directly against contents.
  • No Activation Required: Active on arrival, so there is no soaking, charging or maintenance step.
  • 2" x 2" Footprint: Seats in a lid pak holder without taking volume that would otherwise hold product.
  • Tactile Replacement Signal: The pack turns granular then solid when spent, so no indicator card is needed.
  • 2 Year Shelf Life: Sealed stock keeps, so holding stock ahead does not mean losing packs to age.

Boveda 58% or 62% — Which Should You Use?

58% runs drier and protects longer holds and denser material. 62% keeps more moisture in and suits jars moving to a customer quickly.

What Does Unwrapped Bulk Mean in Practice?

No individual overwrap, so every pack activates when the case is opened. Lower cost per unit, best used in one continuous run.

How Much Does a 4g Boveda Cover?

A half ounce, or 14 g of material. Step up to 8 g for a full ounce or 67 g for a pound.

Can Unwrapped Packs Be Stored Part-Used?

Yes, but only sealed. Move leftovers into an airtight container or bag, otherwise they discharge into the room instead of your product.
