GreenGro Premium Ultrafine Mycorrhizae Mixes Where Granules Cannot
Most mycorrhizal products are granules that have to sit in the planting hole. This one is milled fine enough to suspend in water, so it goes wherever the water goes. The fungal side is Glomus intraradices at 20 spores per gram, plus three companion Glomus species at 5 spores per gram each. Five Bacillus strains back it up, led by Bacillus subtilis at 15×10⁹ CFU per gram. The blend also carries kelp and 10% humic acid. For soil and containers, mix 1 tbsp per gallon of water and pour it at the base of the plants. Hydroponic reservoirs take far less, at 1 tsp per gallon. Compost tea brewers add 16 oz per 80 gallons and apply the tea as a soil drench. At transplant, dip the root ball in the solution, or touch damp roots to the dry powder before planting. Stir or agitate the mix before each pour, because the fine particles settle quickly. Stored cool and dry, it stays viable for about 24 months.
Where a Soluble Mycorrhizae Product Earns Its Keep
The payoff is root reach. Fungi colonize the roots and extend the effective root zone, helping plants find water and phosphorus they would otherwise miss. Growers usually see it most after transplant, when roots are recovering and need to spread quickly. Drip, coco and hydro growers can use it where granular myco would clog an emitter or sit uselessly in a reservoir. Colonization needs living roots, so a single drench on established plants works better than dumping it into a bare tank. Heavy phosphorus feeding discourages colonization, so ease off aggressive bloom boosters if you want the fungi to establish. Fungicide drenches knock the biology back as well, so plan treatments around it. In recirculating systems, clean filters regularly, since fine organic particles collect on screens and pump intakes. The smallest sizes cover a tent or a season of houseplant repotting. The bulk bags suit commercial tea brewers and nurseries treating thousands of starts.
Key Features
- Water-Soluble Ultrafine Grind: Suspends in water for drenches, drip lines, compost teas and hydroponic reservoirs.
- Four Endomycorrhizal Species: Glomus intraradices leads the blend with three companion Glomus species.
- Five Bacillus Strains: Billions of CFU per gram add a bacterial layer working alongside the fungi.
- Kelp and Humic Acid: Feed root-zone biology and help hold nutrients where roots can reach them.
- Multiple Application Routes: Soil drench, transplant dip, compost tea and hydro dosing from one product.
- Two-Year Viability: Stays viable for about 24 months when stored cool and dry.
