GreenGro Pride Lands Defense Works From the Root Zone Up
Pride Lands Defense is a dry blend you scratch into the surface, not another bottle to mix. The actives are garlic, clove, cinnamon, peppermint and white pepper at 1% each. They ride on oyster shell, sesame meal, silica, mustard powder and soybean meal, which is why it behaves like an amendment rather than a dust. Fungus gnats, root aphids, thrips and soil-dwelling larvae stop treating your media as a nursery.
Top Dress and Tea Rates for an Organic Dry Soil Amendment
Top dressing runs one dry tablespoon per gallon of media, or a cup per 4x4 of surface. Scratch it in, water it, and repeat monthly. Brewed as a tea it goes 1 to 2 teaspoons per gallon of water, or a cup per 50 gallons, weekly. For broadcast dusting, figure roughly two cups per 100 square feet of canopy. One honest limit: it's a coarse powder, so it isn't for recirculating hydro except as a brewed foliar. The 2 and 5 lb bags suit soil and coco rooms, while the 25 and 250 lb sizes feed bench and field programs.
Key Features
- Five Food-Grade Actives at 1% Each: Garlic, clove, cinnamon, peppermint and white pepper deter mites, fungus gnats, thrips and root aphids.
- Top Dress or Tea: One tablespoon per gallon of media scratched in, or 1 to 2 teaspoons per gallon brewed for foliar work.
- FIFRA 25(b) Exempt: Certified organic herbs and spices, cleared for consumable crops right through harvest day.
- Easy on Beneficials: It deters rather than kills on contact, so predatory mites and other biologicals keep working alongside it.
- Monthly Cadence: Top dress reapplication is monthly rather than every few days, which is far less labor than a spray program.
