Where Blurple Correction Helps, and Where It Does Not

Blurple is the pink and purple glow of LED fixtures built mostly from red and blue diodes. These lenses are tuned for that light and for magenta spectrums. They are not rated for modern full-spectrum white LEDs, which already render color well. Under a white LED, the correction would shift colors the wrong way. Check what your fixtures actually emit before relying on them. If a room mixes older blurple bars with newer white panels, color-correcting lenses will look right under only one of them. Unclip them when you step into normal light, since the tint is strong outdoors. Clean the lenses with a soft lens cloth rather than paper towels.
