The Netafim Twin Scan-Kleen Screen Filter Doubles the Element

Model 27ASCAN4T-120 puts two screens where the angle body carries one. That takes screen area from 194 to 388 sq in and flow capacity from 300 to 500 GPM, on the same 130 micron cut. Filtration time is really a surface area question. More screen means more debris held before pressure differential climbs and you have to stop and flush. On dirty well water that is the difference between flushing daily and flushing weekly. Body is corrosion-proof high density polypropylene, element is stainless steel, and the whole assembly runs to 120 psi with flanged connections at both ends.

Open the flush valve, turn the handle, and a rotating dirt collector drags suction nozzles across the full face of both screens. Water keeps flowing to the block the entire time, so nothing downstream sees a pressure drop and no set gets cut short. The cycle takes about 10 seconds and wants 20 psi minimum at the flush outlet, with 30 psi giving a cleaner sweep.
