What Advanced Nutrients Cultivator Series Base Actually Is

Three-part dry programs get described as though every bag does the same job, and that is where growers go wrong with this one. The analysis on this bag reads 14-0-0. There is no phosphorus and no potassium in it whatsoever, which tells you immediately that it is not a standalone feed. What it carries is nitrogen and calcium, the two inputs a plant needs continuously rather than in a phase. That is why it is the one bag that never leaves the tank. Grow handles the vegetative phosphorus and potassium, Bloom handles the flowering side, and this sits underneath both of them the entire time. The inputs come from Haifa, and the current formulation carries pharmaceutical-grade chelated iron, which is the detail that separates it from a commodity calcium nitrate. Iron in a chelated form stays available across a wider pH band than a sulfate would. Advanced Nutrients states the formula carries no paclobutrazol and no daminozide. That is a line worth having in writing when your flower goes to a lab.

Running Cultivator Series Base Through Veg and Bloom

Through vegetative growth the rate is 4 g per gallon, held flat across all four weeks and paired with the Grow bag at the same strength. Bloom is where it changes. The rate starts at the same place and steps down across the nine-week flower chart, finishing around half of where it began. The Bloom bag climbs in the other direction. That crossover is the whole logic of the program: nitrogen and calcium taper as phosphorus and potassium take over. A 25 lb bag gives you roughly 2,834 gallons of finished solution at the veg rate, and closer to 5,669 at the lowest bloom rate. Advanced Nutrients puts the cost of the full program at under four cents a gallon on a recurring agreement. Two things are worth knowing before you commit to the program. This bag on its own will not feed a plant, so buying it without Grow and Bloom is a mistake rather than a starting point. And a dry three-part program wants a scale and a stir rather than a measuring cup. Four grams per gallon across a 200 gal tank is a weighed quantity.

Key Features

  • Nitrogen and Calcium Only: At 14-0-0 it carries no phosphorus or potassium, which is what lets it run in both veg and bloom.
  • The Constant Leg: Grow and Bloom swap out by phase; this bag stays in the tank from week one to the end of flower.
  • Chelated Iron: The current formulation uses pharmaceutical-grade chelated iron, which holds availability across a wider pH band.
  • Haifa Inputs: Advanced Nutrients sources the raw salts from Haifa rather than blending commodity material.
  • Tapers Through Flower: The chart steps this bag down as Bloom climbs, so nitrogen falls away while phosphorus and potassium rise.
  • No Banned PGRs: The label carries no paclobutrazol and no daminozide, which matters for anyone testing finished flower.
  • Commercial Bag Size: A 25 lb sack covers roughly 2,834 gallons at the vegetative rate of 4 g per gallon.
  • Program Economics: Advanced Nutrients quotes the full three-part program at under four cents per gallon on a recurring agreement.
