A ducted dehumidifier earns its keep in rooms where floor space is already spoken for. The Anden A95 is that kind of unit, a commercial refrigerant dehumidifier rated at 95 pints per day at 80°F and 60% RH. It plugs into a standard 120V outlet, drawing 8.0 amps and 905 watts at rated conditions. Efficiency is 2.1 L/kWh, about 4.4 pints of water for each kilowatt-hour. Air moves through 10-inch inlet and outlet collars, and a backdraft damper sits on the outlet side. Discharge can leave from the top or the end, and the control head swaps between top and front in the field. The cabinet measures 12-1/2 x 14-1/2 x 27-1/2 inches and weighs 70 lb. Installing the A95 Dehumidifier Overhead or Next Door

Keep duct runs short with few bends, since added static pressure costs both airflow and capacity. The damper earns its place here, stopping air from drifting backward through the duct when the unit cycles off. The replacement filter is the Anden 5771, and it comes out tool-free once it looks gray. The trade-off is capacity, because a large flower room will need more than one unit this size.
