One Anden Filter for Both the A100 and the A100F

Anden's other fixed-and-movable pairs take different filters. The A95 and the A95F do not share one. Neither do the A130 and the A130F. The A100 and the A100F do. Anden lists a single part, 5895, at 11.88 x 13.5 x 1 inches, for both machines. So this is the one page in the range where the letter on the data plate does not change what you need. The 11.88 is Anden's own figure, not a rounding of ours, and there is no nominal size published alongside it.

The media is the grade Anden uses across the dehumidifier line. The EPA holds MERV 11 to 65 percent or better capture from 1 to 3 microns, and 85 percent from 3 to 10. That band is where leaf dust, trimmed material and the grit off growing media sit. Anden builds the panel as a multi-pleat, folding the media so more surface fits inside the frame. That is what lets it hold a cycle of room dust before airflow starts to drop. Behind it is the evaporator coil, and keeping that face clean is what keeps the machine pulling its rated pints. One thing to watch on the movable A100F. It meets its dustiest air in whichever room is being turned over, so the calendar is a weaker guide there than the grow cycle. Anden's interval covers both cases. Replace the filter every 12 weeks, or at the end of a harvest.
