Auto Cure Automated Curing Unit: Hands-Off Drying and Curing
This machine handles three post-harvest jobs in one sealed chamber: drying, curing and long-term storage. The Medium unit holds 8 to 12 lbs of flower in an 8 cubic foot chamber on a 24 x 24 in footprint. The chamber is laboratory-grade acrylic, welded without glue or adhesive, and the material does not off-gas. Stainless steel latches pull a rubber-lined door tight to seal the space. Inside, two fixed sensors read relative humidity and temperature continuously. Those readings appear on a 7 in LCD touchscreen on the control panel above the chamber. At the back, separate intake and exhaust chambers hold two servos and four fans of 2.75 in. When the unit vents, the servos open and the fans draw fresh air in while pushing humid air out. Airflow moves bottom to top and side to side under negative pressure, so saturated air leaves the whole chamber. Holding trays carry more than two thousand perforations each to keep that airflow even. Dust filters cover the intake and exhaust openings. Auto Cure builds the venting to eliminate mold and the damp pockets that form in sealed containers.
Running an Automated Curing System
The touchscreen app uses a few sliders, and the Apply button locks in any change. Cycle Frequency sets how often the chamber vents, such as once every twelve hours. RH% Max triggers a vent whenever internal humidity rises above your limit. Vent Duration controls how long each vent lasts once it starts. Manual Cycle vents the chamber on demand for that same duration. Together these act as an automatic burp, timed by what the flower is releasing rather than by a calendar. Separate settings let you move from drying to curing to extended storage without moving the crop. Every vent cycle is logged and graphed, showing how fast moisture leaves the flower over time. That record syncs to an online portal, where you can tag each run with strain and batch notes. Comparing those curves run to run helps standardize the finish across harvests. Load trays evenly and leave space between buds so air reaches every surface. Keep the unit in a stable room away from heat sources and direct light.
Key Features
