A dual-zone photoperiod controller for HID and LED

The PX2 controls two independent zones, 512 digital HID fixtures at 256 per zone, or 100 analog LED at 50 per zone. Each zone runs analog or digital, or one of each. That lets you checkerboard technologies like HPS with CMH or LED with CMH in one room. It schedules photoperiod and sets PPF by wattage or percentage, with sunrise and sunset ramps at both ends of the day. Growers use the dual-zone split to alternate rows, dim one zone to save power, or control the perimeter separately from the interior.

Precision and protection on the PX2

A temperature sensor in each zone drives real-time dimming and a high-temperature shutdown that protects the garden. Configurable restrike delays prevent lamp-damaging hot starts, and built-in battery backup holds settings through an outage. By eliminating inrush current and replacing lighting contactors, it trims the wiring a big room usually needs. One note: it drives controllable Phantom or Core HID and PHOTOBIO LED fixtures, so confirm yours are compatible before wiring.
