AutoPot FlexiTank Pro 60 Gallon on a Twelve-Pole Frame

Twelve support poles, joined in pairs by six connectors, hold up the walls of this collapsible tank from the inside. Six locking nuts fix them to the top ring, and the anti-tip frame keeps a full load of 60 gal (225 L) square on the floor. Filled, it measures 23 in in diameter and 33.5 in tall. That tall, narrow shape takes up little floor while still putting useful head behind the outlet. The skin is reflective on the outside and blocks light completely, so stored feed stays dark and cooler under bright lights. Capacity lines run up the inside wall for measuring water before nutrients go in. A zippered top gives access for mixing, stirring and assembly. The tank itself is made from food-grade materials. Running a Nutrient Reservoir This Size Above an AutoPot Line

Fit the tap before any water goes in, upside down and hand-tight, with one washer on each side of the wall. Stand the frame on a smooth, level surface, half fill it, then turn the tap clockwise to its upright position and top up. The tank base has to sit at least 6 in above the highest AQUAvalve, so it normally goes on a stand. A full tank this size is heavy, so pick a stand rated for the load before filling. A 1/2 in main line connects through a 1/2 in click-fit inline or click-fit pro filter. A 3/8 in line takes the 1/2 to 3/8 in inline filter instead. On a raised tank, mount that filter a little way down the pipe so the tap is not pulling on the skin. AutoPot builds its twelve and sixteen pot runs of 3.9 gal pots around a tank this size. Keep the zip closed between mixes so light and debris stay out. Like any soft-sided tank, it must be drained completely before it is moved and never dragged while full.
