The zipper is a wetsuit type sitting under a double flap. Reinforced stitching runs through every seam that takes load. Handles are thickened where hands sit, and a second pair lets two people lift together. Loaded to capacity this bag is a two-person job anyway.

Getting the Most From an Odor Locking Carbon Liner

The liner is activated carbon held behind a thick nylon mesh. Mesh matters because carbon abrades, and abraded carbon stops adsorbing. Capacity is not infinite, and a bag left packed for weeks will use it up faster. Open the bag and let it breathe between runs. Moisture is the other enemy, since wet carbon holds water instead of aroma compounds. Never pack material that is still damp from trimming. Seat the storm flap over the zipper and run it the whole way closed. A partly closed bag does nothing useful. Looked after, the same liner will see several seasons of harvest transport.
