What a 0-9-19 Blossom Builder Liquid Actually Does
Zero nitrogen, nine percent phosphate and nineteen percent potash. That analysis tells you most of what this bottle is for before you read anything else. No nitrogen means it will not push new leaf at a point in the cycle when leaf is not wanted. Potassium at roughly twice the phosphorus is the ratio associated with firming flowers rather than initiating them. Atami sell it as a finisher, and the analysis backs that positioning. It is an additive and not a base, so it goes into a tank that already holds a complete feed. The bottle is 12 oz, which is about 355 ml. Rate is 0.25 to 0.5 ml per litre, or roughly one to two millilitres per gallon. That works out at somewhere between 190 and 390 gallons of finished feed from this bottle.
Where It Goes in the Flowering Phase, and the Rate Trap
Flowering phase additives fail more often from overdosing than from anything else. The rate here is small, and it is small on purpose. Doubling a potassium heavy additive is how growers lock out calcium and magnesium. Start at the bottom of the range and hold it there unless the plant asks for more. Watch runoff conductivity rather than the leaf, because the leaf tells you too late. It stacks on top of whatever base you run, in coco, in rockwool or in a recirculating tank. Add it after the base parts are mixed and the tank is stirred, never into neat water. One practical note on sizing: the current Atami range carries this product in a 16.9 oz bottle. Anyone who only ever runs a two part base and nothing else does not need this at all.
