Advanced pest control powered by essential oils
BioWorks EpiShield® O Hobbyist Sizes are a next-generation miticide and insecticide formulated with a concentrated blend of peppermint oil (15%) and clove oil (10%) plus sodium lauryl sulfate (3%). It’s designed to deliver strong control of soft-bodied pests while using significantly lower rates than traditional horticultural oils—helping reduce plant stress and the risk of phytotoxicity.

Multiple modes of action for reliable results
EpiShield® O works on contact by paralyzing, suffocating, and desiccating pests—supporting resistance-management strategies and making it a strong fit for Integrated Pest Management (IPM) rotation programs.

Because EpiShield® O Hobbyist Sizes are REI 0-hour and PHI 0-day (exempt from maximum residue limits), it supports continuous greenhouse workflows and flexible application timing. It’s also OMRI Listed and qualifies for 25(b) EPA exemption (no federal EPA registration).
