What the Bluelab Pro Controller Wi-Fi Holds to Setpoint
Three parameters, and you can run one, two or all three. It reads pH across 0.0-14.0 at ±0.1 and conductivity from 0 to 5.0 EC at ±0.1. Temperature covers 0-50°C / 32-122°F. It then doses to bring each parameter back to the value you programmed. Dosing intervals are yours to tune against pump size, tank volume and stock dilution, which keeps a small tank from overshooting. It runs on a 100-240 VAC supply, so it is not fussy about the panel it lands next to. Every probe is removable and replaceable, on 2 m cables.
Running an Automatic pH and EC Controller Without Getting Burned
The safety logic is the part worth paying for. High and low alarms sit on each parameter. Internal lockouts stop nutrient dosing when a temperature alarm fires. An external terminal lets a flow switch kill all dosing when the pump is idle. Automatic lockouts also stop dosing outright if the unit detects a fault. Set your lockouts before your setpoints. The pH probe carries a calibration quality indicator, so you know when it is drifting rather than finding out through a crop. Two things to budget for. The controller does not include the dosing pumps, so a Peridoser or Solenoid is a separate line item. And the pH probe carries a 6 month guarantee against 2 years on the controller. A Bluelab Connect Stick is included.
