Boveda 4g 58% Individually Wrapped Humidity Control Packs, 600 Count

Each 4 g pack holds a half ounce at 58% RH, the drier of Boveda's two flower levels. Pure water vapor crosses a reverse-osmosis membrane in both directions, so a jar that has run dry recovers rather than only holding. At 2" x 2" it lies flat under an eighth or quarter jar lid. Against the 62% version of the same pack nothing physical changes. Same size, same fill, same membrane, and only the equilibrium differs. Seven points sounds small and is not, because it changes how material behaves across months rather than days. 58% suits stock that sits, and 62% suits stock that moves.

Wrapped 600 Count Case for Batch Packaging Runs

Individual wrapping is what this SKU is for, because each pack stays sealed and inert until torn open at fill. A part-used 600 count case still works months later, where an unwrapped case would have discharged into the box. The unwrapped 58% version costs less per unit and suits one continuous run instead. Pick wrapped when fill happens in batches, unwrapped when it happens all at once. So where does the wrapped case actually earn its keep? A processor packing in weekly batches. A retailer bagging stock as it sells. Anyone whose fill schedule is unpredictable, which is most of them. For long term storage runs the wrapper is the difference between a case that keeps and one that quietly spends itself.

Key Features

  • 58% Two-Way Control: Adds moisture to a container that has dried out and pulls it back when the lid comes off.
  • Protects 1/2 oz (14 g): Sized so the pack has capacity in hand rather than running at its limit.
  • Individually Wrapped: Each pack stays dormant until opened, so a part-used case holds its charge.
  • Pure Water Vapor Only: A reverse-osmosis membrane means nothing but water crosses into your material.
  • Food-Grade Fill: Salt, purified water and a food-grade thickener, safe resting directly against contents.
  • 600 Packs per Case: Packaging volume without committing to a case that goes live all at once.
  • No Activation Required: Active on arrival, so there is no soaking, charging or maintenance step.
  • Drier Than 62% RH: The right level when material is held long term rather than moving quickly.

Individually Wrapped or Unwrapped?

Wrapped packs stay dormant until opened, so a part-used case keeps working months later. Unwrapped cases start discharging as soon as they are opened.

Boveda 58% or 62% — Which Is Right?

58% runs drier and protects long holds and denser material. 62% keeps more moisture in for jars moving quickly to a customer.

How Much Does a 4g Boveda Cover?

A half ounce, or 14 g. The 8 g covers a full ounce and the 67 g steps up to a pound.

How Long Do These Last Once In Use?

Two to four months in a sealed jar, on a roughly three-month replacement cycle. Sealed and wrapped, shelf life runs two years.
