Boveda 320g 62% Humidity Control Packs Hold Five Pounds

The largest pack Boveda makes, one 320 g unit covers up to five pounds at 62% RH. At 6.75" x 5" and under an inch thick it lies flat in a tote base rather than taking usable depth. That flatness is the point at this size. A thick pack in a large vessel steals volume you paid for, while this one goes under the load and disappears. Moisture crosses a reverse-osmosis membrane both directions, so a tote that has run dry recovers instead of just holding. This is the RH level for material moving through to a customer rather than sitting long term. The fill is food-grade salt, purified water and a thickening agent.

A Five Pound Humidity Pack for Totes and the 21L CVault

This is the pack that ships with the 21 L CVault, and the one to restock when that vault's original turns rigid. One unit handles a full five pounds, so most operations run a single pack per container. Beyond the CVault it turns up in a few specific places. Large curing totes hold five pounds comfortably and take one pack. Transport cases moving finished stock between sites use it for the same reason. A drying room staging bulk before jarring runs one per bin. What it is not is a jar pack, because 320 g on a quart jar is capacity nobody uses. Give a sealed vessel a day or two to settle before reading the result.

Key Features

  • 62% Two-Way Control: Adds moisture to a container that has dried out and pulls it back when the lid comes off.
  • Protects 5 lb (2.5 kg): The largest capacity Boveda makes, sized for totes and bulk vessels.
  • Pure Water Vapor Only: A reverse-osmosis membrane means nothing but water crosses into your material.
  • Food-Grade Fill: Salt, purified water and a food-grade thickener, safe resting directly against contents.
  • Fits the 21 L CVault: The replacement pack for the largest CVault, seating in its lid-mounted holder.
  • 6.75" x 5" Flat Profile: Under an inch thick, so it lies in a tote base without stealing depth.
  • No Activation Required: Active on arrival, so there is no soaking, charging or maintenance step.
  • Tactile Replacement Signal: The pack turns rigid when spent, so no indicator card is needed.

How Much Does a 320g Boveda Hold?

Up to five pounds, the largest capacity Boveda makes. The 67 g covers a pound and the 8 g a single ounce.

Which Container Takes a 320g Pack?

It is the pack supplied with the CVault 21 L, and suits any tote or bulk vessel holding up to five pounds.

Boveda 58% or 62% — Which Is Right?

62% keeps more moisture in and suits product moving to a customer. 58% runs drier for long holds and denser material.

How Long Does a 320g Pack Last?

Two to four months depending on conditions. A sealed tote opened rarely runs longer than one accessed daily for dispensing.
