Higher speeds suit wet or resin-heavy flower, while lower speeds suit dried flower. An 8 HP three-phase leaf collector moves 7,105 CFM to pull leaf onto the reels for a close cut. Setting Up a Centurion Trimmer for Commercial Runs

Plan the electrical first, since the blower cord ships without a plug and needs one wired on by an electrician. Put the trimmer on its own standard circuit, separate from the leaf collector. Leave room around the machine for staff to load the hopper and swap collection bags. For dry trimming, aim for flower at about 11% moisture, with 8 to 13% still workable. Start a new batch at a lower speed, check the cut, then raise the rate for as long as the cut stays clean. Feed the hopper evenly so all three tumblers stay loaded. Empty the micron bag on a schedule, since kief builds up fast at commercial volumes. Pressure wash the body after a run, and wash the tumblers by hand. Keep spare bed bar blades, reel bearings and a belt on the shelf so a worn part never stops a harvest.
