The Chikamasa B-500SRFP is the curved, fluorine-coated B-500 blade on a pink grip, so resin sheds while the tip rides the outside of each bud. These pink curved scissors do the same work as the orange pair and are easy to spot in a crowded trim bin.

Chikamasa B-500SRFP: Curved Coated Blade, Pink Grip

Under the pink handle sits Chikamasa's curved, sap-resistant B-500 blade. The blade is curved, cut from high-quality Japanese stainless and finished with a fluorine coating. That coating is what keeps resin from gluing the blades together halfway through a sticky session. The curve is 35 mm from pivot to tip, on a frame measuring 155 mm overall. Short and curved means the tip hugs the round of a bud, shaving sugar leaf close in one pass. Chikamasa grinds the outer faces round, so the back of that curve does not scar the flower it brushes. The grip is pink elastomer resin over a steel core, soft on the fingers but rigid under pressure. A cushioned stop softens each close and cuts down the clicking that grinds on a trimmer by evening. A tightened stainless rivet keeps the blades aligned and will not rust in a humid room. Colour aside, it matches the orange B-500SRF cut for cut.

Pink Curved Scissors That Stand Out on the Trim Table

Picking pink is more practical than it sounds. On a table with a dozen trimmers, handle colour is the quickest way to tell whose pair is whose. Some teams issue a colour per shift or per station, and a bright handle is also harder to lose in a bin of trim. The curve handles most of a hand trim alone, from fan leaf on wet branches to the final outside manicure. Deep crevices on dense buds are where it struggles, and the slanted B-500SLFP reaches there more easily. Resin still accumulates on the coating, only more slowly, so keep isopropyl and a rag nearby. A second pair soaking while one works keeps the rhythm going. This model has no spring, so your fingers open the blades after each cut. If that tires your hand, the spring-loaded TP-500SRF carries the same curved, coated blade. Keep it on leaf and small stems, since woody branches chip the fine tip and wear the coating.

Key Features

  • Curved Stainless Blade: The curve follows the round of a bud, so close manicuring needs fewer cuts and less wrist rotation.
  • Fluorine Sap-Resistant Coating: Resin sheds from the coated blade, keeping the pair opening cleanly through sticky trims.
  • Rounded Outer Faces: The blade backs are ground round so they brush finished flower without scarring it.
  • Pink Steel-Core Grip: A soft pink elastomer grip over a steel core is comfortable and easy to identify on a shared table.
  • Cushioned Stop and Stainless Rivet: A soft stop absorbs closing shock, and a stainless rivet keeps the blades aligned without rusting.
