CVault 21L Curing Storage Container Holds Up to Two Pounds

Twenty-one liters of 18/10 food-grade stainless steel, 13.5" by 10.5" inside, closed by a ¼" silicone gasket and a latch built to pull airtight. That works out to roughly a kilo, or two pounds, held in one sealed vessel. Light never reaches the contents, which is what separates this from a row of gallon jars on a shelf. It also separates it from a plastic tote, which seals but lets light through and picks up odor over time. At this volume the headspace is the thing to think about. A container this size holds a lot of air, and air is what a humidity pack has to work against. That is why the included pack is a 320 g rather than a 67 g.

A Commercial Stainless Steel Curing Container Built to Travel

The included 320 g 62% RH Boveda sits in a lid-mounted holder and covers the full volume on its own. A secondary zip-tie point is the detail that matters for transport. The latch is already airtight; the zip tie makes it tamper-evident between sites. Stackable, so a prep room can run several with the lids marked in non-permanent marker. At this size it is heavy once loaded, which is worth knowing before putting one on a high shelf. Two pounds of material plus the steel is not a one-hand lift. The 8 L is the size below this one at about a pound, and the 4 L sits at half of that. Pick by the batch you actually run rather than by the largest batch you might. Replacement 320 g packs are stocked as singles and by the case, which is the only recurring cost for curing at this volume.

Key Features

  • 18/10 Food-Grade Stainless Steel: Holds no odor and takes commercial handling without denting like thin-wall tins.
  • Completely Light-Tight Body: Blocks the UV that fades and degrades material sitting in clear glass.
  • ¼" Silicone Gasket Seal: Pulls flat under the latch so ambient air does not creep in between openings.
  • Secondary Zip-Tie Securing Point: Makes a loaded vault tamper-evident on long-distance moves between sites.
  • 21 L Capacity: Sized at about 1 kilo to 2 lb of product, so the headspace matches the 320 g pack rated for it.
  • Writable Lid Surface: Non-permanent marker wipes off, so one container follows several batches.
  • Stackable Body: Vertical storage keeps a dispensary prep room organized without extra shelving.
  • Airtight Locking Latch: Seals aroma in rather than letting it bleed into the room over weeks.

How Much Does a CVault 21L Actually Hold?

About one kilo, or two pounds, of dry plant material. That is the working figure — packing tighter risks crushing rather than gaining usable volume.

How Long Does the 320 g Boveda Pack Last in a 21L?

Two to four months typically, with a three-month replacement cycle recommended. A vault opened daily for dispensing runs at the short end.

Can a CVault 21L Be Shipped or Transported Loaded?

Yes. The latch seals airtight and the secondary zip-tie point secures the lid for long-distance movement between sites.

Do I Need More Than One Boveda Pack?

Not for the 320 g included — it is rated to five pounds, comfortably above this container's two-pound working capacity.
