A 20 gallon tank on wheels changes how far one batch of concentrate goes before anyone walks back to refill it. This cart, part HS20, is Dosatron's DosaCart Pro20. The polyethylene tank holds 20 gallons, and a clean-out valve drains it fully between products. A crash bar shields the injector and plumbing from bench corners and doorframes. It rolls on 10 inch easy-glide no-flat tires mounted on a stainless steel axle. The frame stays narrow, at 46.75 x 16 x 14.5 inches, so it fits down standard aisles. Empty, it weighs about 35 lb. A built-in hose hanger keeps the delivery hose coiled and off the floor. The cart accepts D14 (14 GPM), D6 (26 GPM) and D40 (40 GPM) Series Dosatron injectors. Dosatron's Pro Hook-Up Kits, offered for the D14 and D16, connect with cam-lock fittings. The injector and hook-up kit are sold separately. Dosatron aims it at greenhouses, garden centers and educational institutions.
Working With a Dosatron Cart on the Floor
Mix the concentrate in the tank, set the injector dial, and connect a supply hose from the nearest bib. The injector pulls from the tank in proportion to the water passing through, so the dilution stays steady at any wand setting. That makes it easy to switch between hand-watering, a fungicide drench and a sanitation rinse in one shift. Drain the tank through the clean-out valve before changing products, then flush the injector with clean water. Keep separate concentrate batches labeled, because a tank this size holds a lot of product. The higher-flow injectors suit long hose runs and multiple wands, while the D14 covers most hand-watering. Size the injector to the hose and nozzle you actually use, not the biggest one the cart accepts. A full tank adds well over 160 lb, so roll it on level ground and take ramps slowly. Park it with the crash bar facing traffic. Once rinsed, store it out of direct sun to protect the tank and hoses.
