Fittings are the part of a chiller install that fails first, and the least costly thing on the machine. This kit matches the 1 in connections used across the EcoPlus Commercial Grade chillers, the ones that accept either rigid PVC pipe or flexible tubing. Each chiller ships with two of them, which is exactly enough and no spare. Cross-thread one during a rushed install, or crack one when a line freezes, and the chiller is offline until a replacement arrives. Smaller EcoPlus units use different sizes, half inch on the 1/10 HP and three quarter inch on the 1/4 and 1/2 HP. Check the chiller before matching a kit to it.

Spare 1 inch chiller fittings belong in the same box as spare impellers and a length of tubing. The failure always comes at the least convenient moment. Wrap the threads properly on refit and hand-tighten rather than wrenching, since over-torquing plastic is what cracks the next one.
