EcoPlus 1/2 HP Water Chiller for a Stable Root Zone

A warm reservoir holds less dissolved oxygen and turns into a breeding ground for root rot, right when a heavy canopy needs cool, clean water. This chiller pulls that heat back out. It moves 5,115 BTU an hour to hold a reservoir of roughly 100 to 250 gallons in the cool sweet spot. The exact range depends on how far below room temperature a grower needs to go. A titanium heat exchanger does the cooling, so it resists corrosion and runs on fresh or salt water alike. The result is a steady water temperature that keeps roots healthy and oxygen high through the hottest days.

A high-quality Japanese compressor and R410A refrigerant give efficient, reliable cooling inside a galvanized steel housing with a powder-coated finish. The digital LCD sets the target temperature. A remote controller on a 30-foot cord lets a grower read and adjust the unit from across the room. If the power blips, auto-restart and temperature memory bring it back to the same setting on their own. It plumbs into a loop with two 1-inch fittings for hard PVC or flexible tubing, fed by a pump around 1056 GPH. On 120V at 4.4 amps, it drops into a standard outlet on a reservoir or recirculating system.
