What Is Inside the GreenGro EZ Grow Box

The box holds five 2 lb bags and two samples. Pride Lands Veg is the vegetative base at 6-3-3.5, built on feather meal, guanos, fish meal, alfalfa, crab meal and kelp. Humic acid and biochar are worked in. Pride Lands Bloom swaps the nitrogen for phosphate and potash at 2-5.5-5.5 from much the same list of meals and minerals. Flower Finisher is the last four weeks at 1-5-7, carrying 12.5 percent calcium for the final swell. Green Aminos is the protein side, a soybean hydrolysate and kelp blend at 0.5-0-2 with 10 percent calcium, meant for cuttings, seedlings and the early weeks. Nature's Brix is sugars and rock dust, molasses sucrose and dextrose, fed to the microbes to push brix and resin. The Granular Plus Myco sample carries Glomus mycorrhizae and five Bacillus species on a humic and kelp base, for the root zone at transplant. The Pride Lands Defense sample is garlic, clove, cinnamon, peppermint and white pepper on a silica and mustard base. It goes on as a top dress against gnats, thrips and mites. Everything in the box is dry, and every bag works into soil before planting or goes on as a top dress afterwards. GreenGro calls the whole kit a 100 percent organic mix. The point of a box rather than a shelf of bags is proportion. A veg base, a bloom base, a finisher, a protein feed and a sugar feed are the five jobs a dry program has. Each one arrives in a quantity that matches the others. The kit ships at 13 lb.

Running an Organic Dry Amendment Kit Through a Cycle

An organic dry amendment kit feeds the soil, and the soil feeds the plant. Timing therefore runs a week or two ahead of what a bottle would. Work Pride Lands Veg into the mix before planting at a cup per cubic foot. Let the soil sit warm and damp for a fortnight so the microbes get started. Water transplants in with Green Aminos at a teaspoon or two per gallon. Dust the root ball with the myco sample as it goes in the hole. Through veg, top dress Veg at a tablespoon per gallon of media each week, scratched lightly into the surface and watered in. Switch the top dress to Pride Lands Bloom at the flip, same rate, and keep it going through the stretch. Four weeks out from harvest, Flower Finisher takes over as a drench at a teaspoon per gallon. On a large pot, a tablespoon top dressed does the same job. Nature's Brix goes in with the water at a tablespoon or two per 5 gallons whenever the plants are drinking well. Dry inputs do not rinse out, so err low. Start at the bottom of each rate, wait a week, and only then add more. Seedlings and fresh clones get Green Aminos and nothing else until they are established. Keep the soil moist and above sixty degrees, because cold or dry soil stalls the microbes and the feed sits there undigested. An aerated compost tea after a top dress speeds the breakdown. Hold the Defense sample for the first sign of gnats, a dry tablespoon per gallon of media on the surface, applied out of direct light.
