FloraFlex QuickFill Coco 3/4 Gal Goes In Open Top and Pre-Drilled

The 3/4 gal QuickFill coco block arrives compressed in a solid white PE wrapper, open at the top. Water it and it expands 5:1 into a 3.2 L cube near 6" x 6" x 6" at 60% water to 40% air. The coco is super-washed to an EC under 0.6 on the Dutch 1:1.5 method. Your first feed is the feed the roots actually see. Every batch is CDFA and OMRI certified and carries a laser-printed code back to its own heavy-metals panel.

The pre-drilled center hole takes a 40|40 plug or a rooted clone, with two smaller holes for micro-dripper stakes. Hydrate on a 2-way assembly at 0.3 gph per stake and give it 75 to 90 minutes before anything goes in. From there it runs like any low-EC coco coir growing media in drain-to-waste, ebb-and-flow, or hand-fed benches. The open top cuts both ways. It makes top-dressing and hand-feeding simple, but a wet coco surface under a hard canopy will green up unless the plants shade it. At 3.2 L this is a propagation and early-veg container, not the pot you finish in.
