Length rather than girth separates this plate from the rest. The Futurola KB100 party filling device is cut for the longest cone in the range, and the party size 140/26 cone holds two grams across 140 mm.

Why the Futurola KB100 Party Filling Device Is Its Own Plate

Party is the long cone in the Futurola range, measuring 140/26 and holding 2.0 grams. Crown diameter is 14 mm, which is the aperture that length of paper needs. Those two numbers together are why it needs dedicated tooling. The crown has to open wide enough to take the cone without creasing it. The pocket has to be deep enough for 140 mm of paper. A narrower plate will not hold a Party cone upright, and forcing one bends the tip. This part is the plate alone, fitted to a Knockbox 100. Base, controller, spill tray, mix tray and unload station are all separate components. Futurola specify the Basic unload grade for this plate.

Where a Party Size 140/26 Cone Pays for the Extra Paper

A party size 140/26 cone is a shared format, and that is the whole commercial logic behind it. Two grams in a long slim paper burns slower and stays lit between hands. Packaging is the practical constraint rather than the machine. Most pre-roll tubes and mylar bags on the shelf are cut for shorter cones, so check the pouch before committing a production run. On the bench the long pocket wants a steadier load than the shorter sizes. Overfill the tray and material bridges across the crowns instead of dropping. Operators usually run this size at a slightly finer grind for that reason. Plate swaps take a minute and no tools. Store it flat, keep the funnels clean with isopropyl, and the fill depth stays consistent across runs. One scaling limit matters here. Futurola state the Knockbox 500 does not take this plate, which is a limit of that machine. Within the 100 and the 300 it is fully supported.

Key Features

  • Cut for the longest cone: The 140 mm pocket and 14 mm crown suit the Party size alone.
  • 2.0 gram capacity: Two grams spread across a 140 mm paper, which burns slowly.
  • 14 mm crown diameter: The aperture this cone needs to load without creasing.
  • Basic unload station grade: The grade Futurola specify for this cone size.
  • A plate, not a machine: Base, controller, spill tray, mix tray and unload station are separate components.
  • Check your packaging first: Most shelf-ready tubes and pouches are cut for shorter cones than 140 mm.
