The Knockbox 300 fills 300 pre-rolls in 90 seconds, depending on which kit is fitted. Fatboy is the heaviest of those kits because each cone takes 3.0 grams. A full plate therefore carries nine hundred grams of material in one load. The cone is 120/30 with a 15 mm crown aperture. Those dimensions are what make the tooling specific; a narrower plate will not seat this cone. Material weight per cycle is the practical constraint rather than the clock. Loading, levelling and knocking nine hundred grams by hand takes longer than the rated 90 seconds suggests. Plan on the machine time being a fraction of the operator time. What ships is the plate on its own. Knockbox 3 base, controller and power cord, spill tray, mix tray and unload station are separate items. Complete KB300 kits weigh 8 to 12 pounds depending on the size.
Matching a 300 Cone Filling Plate to the Rest of the Line
A 300 cone filling plate only earns its rate if the stations either side of it keep up. The grinder has to deliver enough prepared material to fill a plate without a pause. The unload station has to clear a full plate before the next one is ready. This plate uses the Basic unload grade. Operators running mixed sizes usually batch by cone rather than switching plates mid-shift. A swap takes about a minute, but recalibrating the fill by weight afterwards takes longer. Keep the plate flat when it is off the machine. A warped plate shows up as one light row rather than as an obvious fault. Clean the funnels with isopropyl between runs, because resin narrows the taper and quietly reduces the fill. One limit to plan around if the room is scaling. The Knockbox 500 does not accept this plate, so this cone caps out at the 300. That is a constraint of the machine range rather than of the Fatboy format.
