FloraPro Grow 10-12-22 for Commercial Veg Feeding
Commercial rooms need a vegetative feed that dissolves cleanly, mixes the same every time and scales to large stock tanks. This water-soluble powder carries a guaranteed analysis of 10-12-22. Total nitrogen is 10%, split into 3.0% ammoniacal and 7.0% nitrate nitrogen. Available phosphate is 12.0% and soluble potash is 22.0%. It adds 3.5% water-soluble magnesium and 4.5% combined sulfur. It is derived from ammonium nitrate, ammonium phosphate, ammonium sulfate, magnesium sulfate and potassium nitrate. Ingredients are quality controlled and water soluble, with no fillers to clog lines or emitters. Calcium and micronutrients come from FloraPro Calcium + Micros 14-0-0 in a separate tank. Plants with only a vegetative stage, such as leafy greens and herbs, can stay on Grow and Calcium + Micros for the whole crop. Fruiting crops move to FloraPro Bloom when they switch to a 12 hour photoperiod.
Mixing a Vegetative Stage Fertilizer for Stock Tanks
A vegetative stage fertilizer has to stay in solution, so the mixing sequence matters. Fill a clean stock tank to about seventy percent of the final volume with fresh water, ideally RO. Warm water helps the powder dissolve faster. Agitate while adding the weighed powder slowly, then top up once it dissolves. The standard stock is one pound per gallon, labelled as the B tank. Never combine Grow with Calcium + Micros concentrate, because the two will precipitate and can clog injectors. At label rate in a day tank, use 3.2 g/gal of Grow with 2.5 g/gal of Calcium + Micros. That targets about 170 ppm nitrogen at an EC near 1.6 for two to four weeks of veg. With one pound per gallon stock, injectors deliver 26 mL/gal of Grow alongside 20 mL/gal of Calcium + Micros. Cover stock solutions, keep them cool and out of sunlight, and use them within two weeks. The powder absorbs moisture, so close opened bags tightly or move them to airtight containers.
