FloraPro Grow A 4-0-1 Sets Calcium From Day One
Grow A carries 5.0% calcium, the most of anything in the FloraPro liquid line, and it starts working in propagation rather than waiting for flower. Cell walls and root architecture get built in the first three weeks. Calcium is the one element a plant cannot relocate once it is laid down. Against 4.0% nitrogen that puts the calcium-to-nitrogen ratio at 1.25 to 1 from the first feed. The nitrogen is 3.6% nitrate to 0.4% ammoniacal, roughly nine to one, so veg pushes steadily without the root-zone pH dive that ammonium-heavy feeds cause. Iron comes in at 0.1% as DTPA, which is what keeps new growth green when a crop is adding a node every few days. Copper sits at 0.0005%, a twentieth of what the bloom side carries. There is no phosphate here at all, and that is what lets the A and B sides exist as a program.
Scaling a Calcium-Fortified Vegetative Nutrient Across Tanks
The whole reason this side runs calcium and micros together is bottle count. One Tank A charge covers the calcium, the nitrogen and the full micro package. No separate Cal-Mag jug, no third injector channel to calibrate. Rates run 7 mL/gal in propagation week one and 12 mL/gal through vegetative weeks one to three. Both matched 1:1 with Grow B, with headroom to 18 mL/gal. Worth knowing before you order at scale: Grow A comes in a 275 gallon tote and Grow B does not. Holding that 1:1 means one tote of A against five 55-gallon drums of B. The two sides come off the pallet at different cadences. Make up stock to about 70% volume, agitate, then add and top off. At 10.26 lb/gal a full 55 carries 564 lb of product, so plan the handling before the drum arrives.
Key Features
- 5.0% Calcium: The highest calcium in the FloraPro liquid line, available from propagation through the veg stretch.
- 1.25:1 Calcium to Nitrogen: A calcium-forward ratio from the first feed rather than a correction applied later in the cycle.
- Nitrate-Dominant Nitrogen: 3.6% nitrate against 0.4% ammoniacal keeps veg moving without pulling root-zone pH down.
- 0.1% Chelated Iron DTPA: Holds iron plant-available across the normal fertigation pH band, where fast new growth shows chlorosis first.
- No Separate Cal-Mag: Calcium and the full micro package ride in one tank, cutting a jug and an injector channel out of the veg program.
- Three Production Volumes: 6, 55 and 275 gallon formats, the only side of the veg pair offered in a tote.
